Charger Details
All Volkswagen ID models use J1772 for Level 2 home charging and CCS2 for DC fast charging. A 48A hardwired unit provides the fastest overnight charge.
VW ID models accept up to 11.5 kW AC (48A). A 100A panel is sufficient with EVEMS load management. Most Metro Vancouver homes handle this without a panel upgrade. Learn about Technical Safety BC permits.
